The latest AI tools and trends in the world of marketing!

November 12, 2025

(Martinez 2024)

The use of artificial intelligence in marketing has been expanding rapidly over the last five years, and it is predicted to keep growing at an exponential rate. From 2020 to 2024, the market value of AI in marketing in the United States tripled, growing from $12.05 billion to almost $36 billion. By 2028, the national market value is projected to reach $108 billion, representing a growth of nine times its original value, in the span of less than a decade (Dencheva, 2023). This rapid expansion of AI has allowed for the creation of various tools and platforms to be used in the marketing world. Many of the most popular tools can fit into one of three categories based on their primary purpose: content creation, efficiency, or data collection (G. 2025).

Content creation is among the most recognized applications of AI in the marketing field. Some of the platforms in this category can be used to generate original content, such as LALAL.AI and Crayo. Others are utilized to edit preexisting content, such as Grammarly and Hemingway (G. 2025).

Efficiency encompasses a wide variety of programs. It can be used to describe SEO software like Surfer SEO, Brandwell, and ContentShake AI, automated software like Zapier and Gumloop, as well as chatbot software like Chatfuel and Userbot.ai (G. 2025). Although each platform has a different function, they are all utilized for the purpose of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.

Data collection software, such as Browse AI and Brand 24, serves many important purposes in marketing (G. 2025). The data collected helps advertisers monitor media, scrape web pages, specify target audiences, and complete other traditionally time-consuming tasks.

(Day 2023)

All of these tools run on Large Language Models (LLMs). IBM defines LLMs as “a category of deep learning models trained on immense amounts of data, making them capable of understanding and generating natural language and other types of content to perform a wide range of tasks.” Some of the most widely-known LLMs include OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot (IBM 2023). It will be interesting to see how the continued development of LLMs has an impact on current AI software, as well as what other software will be created as a result of this rapid growth.
